This is a new build property situated within the medieval town of Sandwich, Kent. It was the first new house to be built within the Town Wall for a very long time.
 

The style of the house is modern and industrial, using natural, raw materials such as steel, Douglas Fir, limestone and volcanic rock. The team worked closely with Historic England, Archeologists and Dover District Council to sympathetically rebuild part of the Town Wall. The wall encases a Protected Ancient Monument, which is part of the original structure.
