The brief and keywords throughout the project was ‘Modern Rustic’. The clients wanted to achieve a home that was a lot brighter and fresher, but the main goal was to keep the heritage and ‘aged’ feel of the property – after all, with a name like ‘Enchantress Cottage’ you have to keep a certain aspect of quirk and original character. The materials sourced were all of authentic and rich composition – aged limestone, oak, marble, pewter and leather.
